Adobe Dimension splash screen

In my collaboration with Adobe, I undertook the task of creating a captivating 3D floral artwork for the Dimension Splash Screen. Initially approached to enhance and develop on an existing artwork of mine, I adapted it to meet the rebranding requirements. This endeavor aimed not just to produce a visual, but to redefine perceptions of the Dimension application itself. As Adobe's new 3D tool, Dimension needed to be positioned as more than just a mockup creator. The artwork sought to showcase its versatility in creating intricate compositions, staging designs in environments, and manipulating textures and lighting. Through numerous iterations and meticulous refinement, I experimented with diverse compositions, textures, and lighting schemes. Each iteration presented fresh insights and challenges, compelling me to continuously enhance the artwork.

Throughout this process, I actively sought feedback from the creative director and other stakeholders, embracing their input as an opportunity for growth. Their guidance not only helped me refine the visual aesthetics but also deepened my understanding of the application's capabilities and potential applications. Despite being recognised as a key contributor to Adobe Dimension's visual identity, there was a lot to learn and develop. The images below offer a brief glimpse into the development process, from my original artwork to the final one for Adobe, and improvements in terms of composition, textures, lighting and the overall staging.

The journey to the final artwork was a transformative experience, both professionally and creatively. It pushed me to expand my skills in 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering, while also refining my ability to communicate complex ideas visually. By the project's conclusion, I had not only delivered an artwork to be the face of Adobe Dimension, but had also gained a deeper appreciation for the intricacies of 3D design.
